Interesting how these movies are being released abroad before being released in the U.S.
I don’t really understand the argument for it but I think it might have something to do with the heavy amount of bootlegging that goes on abroad.

I have a lot to learn from this quote.

Thought I’d be cutesy this year.
“Lap is one of a kind: A writer of child-like imagination, a socialite, and a dedicated tennis advocate all wrapped into one mean package. His determination is evident in the progression of his tennis game. For example, he used to have a really weak serve/game. However, through hours of hard work/practice and astute learning of you tube videos of professional tennis players, he managed to turn his weakness into one of his many strengths.
I have no doubt he will apply this same level of intense dedication to his professional work. I consider it a true blessing to be able to work with him.” January 12, 2012

Funny DirectTV commercial.
Saks 3D light show. This is pretty amazing.
I’m starting to realize that your birthday, no matter how special of a day it is to you, has much less significance to you than it does to your parents. On your birth date, you were just born. You don’t remember that day. You didn’t achieve anything. You didn’t do anything. For you, it’s just a marker for when you entered the world.
But for your parents, that was a big day! They created a new human being! They actually had to put in an extreme amount of work to get from beginning to end. They spent at least 9 months preparing and taking all sorts of measures and precautions to see it through the way they intended to. And some couples want a child long before they actually have one but can’t because of relationship, financial, or biological issues.
And especially if you’re the first born, your birth marked their transition from adults to parents, from husband-and-wife to family. The day of your birth began a whole new phase of their adult lives. It was a life-changing moment for them.
I usually disregard my parents on my birthday other than picking up their phone calls and saying “Thank You”. This year, I’ll come home and celebrate them a little too.
I was watching VH1’s “I Love the 90’s” 1992.
There was a segment on the TV Show Murphy Brown and the controversy on her character choosing to raise a child on her own. The Vice President at the time, Dan Quayle, criticized Murphy Brown as if she was a real person. The show then used actual footage of his criticism in a rebuttal show. Found it pretty interesting. Read under “Murphy becomes a single mother” on this Wikipedia segment if you want to know more:
